We're hosting a conference with our interpreters to talk about our shared experiences during the crisis

On the evening of the 14/07/2020, we will host an online video conference where we will give our interpreters an update on how VLS have coped during the pandemic, what we're looking to achieve in the future as an organisation as we upgrade our technology, and what we will need of each other in the coming months and years.

As it has around the world, the pandemic has forced us into major changes in how we operate as an organisation and we're working to make these changes positive in nature. As our cherished colleagues, our interpreters and translators deserve to be involved in this process, and make their feelings known on the direction we're heading towards.

Our colleagues will also have a chance to share their own personal experiences of the Covid-19 crisis, as well as hear the thoughts of their peers. It's crucial that we communicate and unify with one another in the face of adversity as people, friends and as professionals.

The details of the conference are as follows:

17:00 to 19:00

The conference will be online, via Zoom. All atendees will be sent a link the day before the conference.

If you're a interpreter or translator and would like to reserve your place at the conference, email us at or call us on 01273 473986
